🌍⚽ This week, our Little Stars Junior class has started our new Project of the Month: “Sports of the World”! 🏅✨
We began by exploring different sports through songs 🎵, games 🎲, and lots of fun classroom activities. Then, we travelled to Ireland 🇮🇪, the first country on our sporting adventure! 🌟
Together, we learned about some of Ireland’s favourite sports 🏐🥎 and made a giant world map 🗺️ to find where Ireland is. We also created a big Irish flag 🇮🇪, which now brightens up our classroom.
The children enjoyed completing sports-themed activities ✏️, practising their pencil control, tracing skills, and number recognition 🔢 while having lots of fun! 😊
To finish the week, we will head to the Garden 🌿 on Friday for a special sports session 🏃♀️🏃♂️, where the children will have the chance to try out all the sports they have been learning about through active games and movement. 🤸♀️⚽🏐
