What an exciting couple of weeks we’ve had in Little Stars Junior!
Last week, our little learners celebrated the end of our Sports Week in a very special way. After taking part in a variety of fun physical activities, movement games and exciting challenges, each child was proudly awarded their own Sports Passport. This special passport recognised all of their hard work, enthusiasm and participation throughout the week. The children loved receiving their passports and were delighted to celebrate everything they had achieved while developing their confidence, teamwork and physical skills.
This week, our learning has focused on shapes, with plenty of hands-on activities designed to encourage exploration and creativity. The children enjoyed identifying circles, squares, triangles and rectangles through sorting games, building activities, colourful art projects and shape hunts around the classroom. These experiences supported their early mathematical understanding while also strengthening their fine motor skills, communication and problem-solving abilities.
It has been wonderful to watch the children learn through play, celebrate their achievements and grow in confidence each day. We are so proud of their enthusiasm and curiosity, and we can’t wait to see what exciting adventures the coming weeks will bring!
