This week in the Little Giggles classroom, we had a wonderful time celebrating Pride Week! 🌈💖 It was a colourful and meaningful week where we explored the different types of love and families, helping the children understand that every family is unique and special.
Throughout the week, we enjoyed a variety of fun sensory activities. One of our favourite experiences was making rainbow healthy cookies 🍪🌈, where the children explored colours, textures, and healthy ingredients while creating delicious treats. We also had lots of fun stamping colourful hearts using cardboard paper rolls ❤️🎨, encouraging creativity and self-expression.
As part of our learning, we talked about different ways people can show love, kindness, and friendship every day. The children proudly created their own rainbow flags 🌈, learning how this symbol represents love, inclusion, and respect for everyone. We also worked together to make a beautiful “Love is Love” banner 💕, which brightened up our classroom and reminded us of the importance of acceptance and belonging.
It has been a very exciting and enjoyable week, full of colour, creativity, and learning. We are so proud of all the children for their enthusiasm and participation in celebrating love, diversity, and friendship! 🌟😊
