This week at nursery, we have been learning all about animals through fun, creative and hands-on activities!
We have been developing our fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination by exploring different ways of manipulating objects to paint, creating colourful animal-inspired artwork.
We also had lots of fun dressing up with animal masks, becoming our favourite animals and encouraging our imagination and pretend play.
As part of our English learning, we explored the concepts of “big” and “small” using different animals, helping us to recognise and compare sizes while learning new vocabulary. BIG animal! SMALL animal!
And finally, we went on an exciting animal hunt in the garden! We searched high and low to find the animals hiding around our outdoor space, turning our learning into a fun adventure.
It has been a wonderful week of exploring, discovering, creating and learning through play!
