Over the past few days, our Little Steps children have been on an exciting prehistoric adventure full of discovery and fun.
We began by exploring the fascinating world of reptiles. We learned about snakes, turtles, crocodiles, lizards, and chameleons through stories, songs, movement games, and sensory activities. The children painted reptile eggs, created colourful reptile-themed artwork, and enjoyed pretending to move like these amazing animals, helping to develop their curiosity, language skills, and fine motor skills.
We then travelled back millions of years to discover the incredible world of dinosaurs. The children created dinosaur footprint trails using toy dinosaurs and paint, became little palaeontologists by exploring and excavating dinosaurs hidden in flour and rice, and created their very own dinosaur using their handprints, producing unique and colourful masterpieces.
The past few days have been full of creativity, imagination, sensory exploration, laughter, and wonderful learning through play. We are so proud of our Little Steps explorers and can’t wait to continue our exciting adventures together!
