This week in Little Giggles 📚✨, we have been exploring the wonderful world of literature and storytelling! Our children have shown great enthusiasm for books and have enjoyed taking part in a variety of activities inspired by their favourite stories. Reading together helps develop language skills, imagination, and a lifelong love of books, and we have certainly had lots of fun along the way! 😊

One of the stories that captured everyone’s attention was The Three Little Pigs 🐷🐷🐷. The children loved listening to the tale and talking about the different houses built by the pigs. To bring the story to life, we recreated the three houses using a variety of sensory materials. The children enjoyed touching, exploring, and building with different textures while discussing the events of the story. It was a fantastic hands-on experience that encouraged creativity and imaginative play 🌟🏠.

We also got creative by making our own personalised bookmarks 🔖😊. Each child used their photograph to create a special bookmark and then decorated it with colours, stickers, and artistic touches of their choice. The children were very proud of their creations and excited to use them during story time.

To finish our literary week, we spent time reading some of our favourite books together 📖❤️. Dinosaur books were especially popular, and the children loved learning about these fascinating creatures while sharing stories with their friends. It has been a wonderful week full of imagination, creativity, and a love of reading, and we can’t wait for more adventures through books next week! 🦕🌈📚
