This week, our Little Stars Seniors have successfully completed our exciting Numbers topic, and what a fantastic journey it has been! Throughout the project, we have explored numbers in lots of fun and meaningful ways, developing our confidence whilst learning through play.
We have been practising number formation, matching and counting, carefully focusing on recognising numbers and understanding their value. We have also spent lots of time developing our fine motor skills, strengthening those little fingers through hands-on activities.
One of our favourite activities was creating our very own money for our Little Stars Market! We designed, traced and decorated our coins and notes before using them in imaginative play. We also practised tracing numbers in magic sand, making learning sensory, engaging and lots of fun!
Our little learners have enjoyed cutting, sticking, colouring, tracing and sorting numbers, all whilst developing their concentration, coordination and independence.
We are so proud of how enthusiastically the children have participated throughout this topic. They have been curious, creative and wonderfully determined! We cannot wait to discover what our next learning adventure will bring!
