This week in Little Stars Seniors, we have been having lots of fun learning about numbers through the exciting world of money.

As part of our learning, we are creating our very own mini market, complete with an ice cream station, a coffee station and lots of other fun areas to explore.

Through this role-play experience, our children are learning how to ask for the things they would like to buy in a supermarket, how to recognise and talk about prices, and how to use numbers in a meaningful and practical way.

We have also been discovering how a cash register works, taking turns being customers and shop assistants, and practising paying for our purchases.

This is a wonderful opportunity for the children to develop their communication, numeracy, social and problem-solving skills while having fun and learning through play.

Most importantly, we have had an amazing time! The children have been so enthusiastic, creative and excited to take part in our mini market.

We can’t wait to see it continue to grow as we add even more stations and activities!
