This week in Little Steps, we have continued exploring the wonderful world of colours through lots of fun, messy and sensory experiences!

Our little learners have had many opportunities to discover, experiment and learn through play.

We enjoyed a colourful Messy Play activity using balloons and paint, where the children explored different colours and created lots of interesting marks. We also created a lovely lollipop using different textures, giving the children the opportunity to touch, feel and discover a variety of sensory materials.

Our colourful blocks were another big part of our learning!

We explored blocks with different colours, including solid and mixed colours, encouraging the children to observe and notice the differences between them. We continued developing these skills by playing games focused on recognising, matching and differentiating colours.

For another Messy Play experience, we used toy cars and colourful paint! The children loved moving the cars through the paint and creating colourful tracks while watching the colours mix together.

Finally, we enjoyed sensory play with blocks, building, stacking, exploring and knocking them down!

It has been another colourful week full of learning, discovery and lots of fun in Little Steps!
