This week in Little Star Junior, we have continued exploring the wonderful world of numbers, combining early maths with creativity, imagination and lots of movement!
Our little learners took part in a variety of artistic and creative activities centred around numbers and their symbols. They enjoyed tracing, colouring, decorating and practising writing different numerals independently, helping them become more familiar with the shapes of each number and build confidence in recognising and writing them on their own.
Through these activities, we have been strengthening their fine motor skills, concentration and early writing abilities in a fun and meaningful way.
We also took our learning outdoors and enjoyed some active movement activities in the garden!
The children had lots of fun running, jumping, balancing and taking part in simple physical games. These activities encouraged coordination, balance and gross motor development, while giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy some fresh air and exercise with their friends.
It has been a lovely week filled with creativity, numbers, movement and plenty of smiles! We are so proud of how confidently our Little Star Juniors are learning, exploring and trying new things each day.
